Before her manuscripts take on their final form numerous sheets of paper have filtered through the process.

Her mission is to empower and encourage others. Her writing is often based on personal experiences, revealing the character, power, and grace of a loving God.

She still remembers her 7th grade teacher reading aloud a short story she had written. She recalls her Seminary professor’s comments on a completed assignment “you have a way with words.” But the most impactful memory is when God called her to write. These memories have encouraged her to unearth the gift within.

Phyllis was born in Cincinnati, Ohio. She is married to Randall. They have two sons and three grandchildren.
